Training and Education

Since our inception, IMTA has been committed to providing quality training and education opportunities to treasurers throughout Illinois. No matter the type or size of municipality or geographic region, we work to provide our members with the best possible training so you can be the best at your job. Choose to attend some or all of the training offered by IMTA: Annual Conference, Institute, or Regional Meetings. 

The range of topics covered include current legislative updates, professional issues, budgeting, bonding, motor fuel taxes, audit control, investments, police and fire pension administration, economic development, grants, home rule, interest rates, and many more. Presenters include a mix of industry specialists, professional speakers, and our own peers.
